Payment Methods

• Accepted payment methods: Payments are processed via Stripe Checkout.
• Card handling: Stripe is a reputable third‑party payment gateway that securely handles card and payment information. ECDAM does not store or have access to any card details.

Billing and Invoicing

• Billing frequency: Charges occur as specified at the time of purchase.
• Invoices: Electronic invoices or receipts will be issued via email after successful payment.
• Customer responsibility: Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Stripe Checkout and Payment Processing

• Checkout flow: Payments are completed through Stripe Checkout; by completing payment you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method.
• Card data handling: All cardholder data is collected, transmitted, and stored by Stripe in accordance with industry standards. ECDAM relies on Stripe’s security and PCI compliance; card details are not retained on ECDAM systems.

Refunds and Cancellations

• Refund policy: Refunds are issued at ECDAM’s discretion and in accordance with the product or service terms shown at purchase. If a refund is approved, it will be processed through Stripe to the original payment method.
• Cancellation effective date: Cancellation takes effect according to the terms displayed at purchase; any prorated refunds or credits will be handled per the stated policy.

Failed Payments and Collections

• Service and ticket issuance: If payment is not successfully authorized and settled, the related service, ticket, confirmation, or access will not be issued or activated until payment is completed.
• Access restriction: No access, ticket confirmation, or service delivery will occur while a payment remains unpaid.

Chargebacks and Disputes

• Disputes: If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, you must also notify ECDAM promptly.
• Stripe role: Stripe will manage the dispute process; you may be required to provide information to assist in resolution.
• Right to contest: ECDAM reserves the right to contest invalid chargebacks.

Taxes and Additional Fees

• Taxes: Applicable taxes, duties, and levies are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated. Taxes will be calculated and charged at checkout where required.
• Processing fees: Payment processing fees charged by Stripe are borne by ECDAM unless otherwise disclosed at purchase.

Security and Data Protection

• PCI and security: Stripe maintains PCI‑compliant infrastructure and industry standard security measures.
• Minimizing handling: ECDAM uses Stripe to minimize handling of sensitive payment data.
• Privacy: Payment information is processed under Stripe’s privacy and security policies.

Changes to Payment Terms

• Amendments: ECDAM may update these payment terms; changes will be posted and effective as of the stated revision date.
• Acceptance: Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

• Termination rights: ECDAM may suspend or terminate access for non‑payment or breach of these terms.
• Outstanding obligations: Termination does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations.
